| ummmm... Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday....
I don't really know what the reason for this is, but I realized the last time I updated was before state one-act and that simply wasn't going to do...not at all

| we made it to state!!! yay! it was a little too close for comfort though...making last night one of the most nerveracking nights i've had in a while. in the hour that awards were delayed, and then when our cast had four members recognized for outstanding performer and Mercy had their entire cast called....i wasn't the only one who nearly peed her pants! but it was a good day overall, despite the stress and drama one-act always creates........that's all i got. mainly because i just got really hungry all of the sudden and i feel the need to make myself a pizza....i like pizza!!!

| hmmmm...my throat hurts. i realized today that one-act has completely consumed my life. when you start thinking of different ways you could say a certain line and facial expressions in your sleep, and you wake up in the morning to discover....yes, the hair is still red and curly and extremely frazzled and you completely forgot to take off the stage makeup before you went to bed.....it's a little unnerving. My "Hester Swane" side scares me! I really do love this play though. And it's so much fun to watch it all finally come together and turn in to something so...good. My entire family officially thinks I should go to Hollywood and become a famous actress..they make me smile. I'm really surprised at how much they loved this play. Given its story line, and the extremely Amish conservative nature of my family, i thought they'd hate it and think i was a freak and the new "black sheep" of the family....but they loved it all! They ALL came to watch, every last one of them.....even my Grandpa David who has never been to a single event in my life...ever. It made me want to cry. I have way to much on my plate right now, and I'm not getting anywhere near enough sleep, but I absolutely love this and wouldn't change a single thing. It's good to hear all the wonderful, astonished comments from people and to know that this play keeps getting better each time we perform it. It's beautiful. I'm having way too much fun with this! :) | | |

| I know what I want for my birthday...and Christmas too....I want to see Wicked, that's all. Is that so much to ask? See, I didn't think so either (hehe) Anyway, I'm sitting here trying to work up the motivation to type up my LYON notes and maybe a couple English essays too, but I'm not feeling the love. So therefore, I listen to the Wicked soundtrack and type to you fine people. And God saw that is was good. hmmmm....I really should get started on some of this crap though....I'm starting to feel guilty. So, yah...... I'm going to the Pumpkin Patch tonight for the annual staff pizza party! woo-hoo!!! That's right, I'm THAT cool, maybe I'll see the entire town of Gretna there as well...it looks likely.
